PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulated fluidized bed combustion apparatus wherein variations of a combustion state of circulated particles due to turbulence in a fluidized bed in a riser are suppressed, and maintenance control for a stable combustion state is ensured, and hence exhaustion of harmful gas and unburnt gas is suppressed with a simple apparatus. SOLUTION: A circulated fluidized bed incinerator 11a is of a circuit structure for circulating particles, which structure comprises a riser 12a and a downcomer 14 composed of a solid/gas separator 13a, and a return pipe 15. The present invention includes as its feature a plurality of the return pipes 15 being mounted, and in the present case two return pipes 15a, 15b are mounted in the direction of the height of a wall of the riser 12a from one loop seal 14a. Hereby, the circulated particles are dispersed to a predetermined position in the height direction of the riser 12a and circulated to suppress variations of a combustion state of the riser fluidized bed due to turbulence of the circulated particles and hence the stable combustion state can be maintained and controlled.
