PLASTIC BOTTLE MATERIAL SORTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the material of plastic bottles with a higher accuracy using a small-capacity light source in stead of a large-capacity light source. SOLUTION: In the plastic bottle material sorter, a bottle conveying path is extended via a discrimination station S1 and a material discrimination sensor 14 is disposed at the discrimination station S1. The discrimination station S1 is provided with a light source 61 for irradiating transmission light and a sensor photodetecting part 62, both arranged on respective sides sandwiching the bottle conveying path and a light source 63 for irradiating reflected light arranged on the same side of the sensor photodetecting part 62.
