<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem where since there is no method for identifying the short-circuited location between a storage capacitance line (counter electrode in an IPS(in-plane switching) type liquid crystal panel) and a signal line does not exist in an active substrate, so that relieving measures of the short-circuit place are restricted. SOLUTION: In this inspecting method of a liquid crystal display device, voltage-measuring terminals are formed at both ends of wiring path, in which storage capacitance lines (counter electrodes in the IPS type panel) are connected in parallel, and then the short-circuited place is identified by measuring the voltage at the both ends of the wiring path and the voltage of a short- circuited signal line.</p> |
