PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine capable of precisely executing control according to the detected value of the internal pressure in the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine with a small quantity of operation. SOLUTION: The parameter PRX of the combustion condition is calculated by deducing '1' from the pressure ratio P3/P2 of the internal pressure P2 in the combustion chamber detected at 60 degrees before the top dead center in the compression process to the internal pressure P3 in the combustion chamber detected at 60 degrees after the top dead center in the expansion process. A target value PRCMD of the parameter of the combustion condition is calculated based on the engine operation condition (S12), and a corrected value KP of the air/fuel ratio is calculated so that the absolute value of the deviation DP between the target value PRCMD and the parameter PRX of the combustion condition is smaller than a prescribed deviationΔDP (almost 0) (S13-S18). A basic fuel quantity TIM is corrected based on the corrected value KP of the air/fuel ratio and the time of fuel injection TOUT is calculated (S19).
