<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a VTR tape traveling controller capable of preventing any waste of time for listener by making the unrecorded part run at a high speed and starting the reproduction as soon as approaching a recorded part during the skip searching of the recorded information. SOLUTION: This VTR tape traveling controller is provided with a signal detecting means 5 for detecting a control signal recorded on a magnetic tape 1 and outputting a detected signal, and a search key 8a for outputting a command signal for executing the searching operation of the information recorded on the magnetic tape 1 only for search time preset to each operation. In this case, a control means 10 is provided to execute control for starting the searching operation according to the operation of the search key 8a. Counting of the search time is temporarily stopped when no detected signals are inputted from the signal detecting means 5, and then the time counting is resumed when the detected signal is inputted, and the reproducing operation of the recorded information is started when the searching time terminates.</p> |
