PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information inputting and outputting system for camera where the existence of an outside communicating equipment is detected in a sure method other than one from the resistance ratio. SOLUTION: In the information inputting and outputting system for camera, it is characteristic that metal patterns concerning DX2 and DX3 among the metal patterns of communicating apparatuses of the communicating device 4 are formed to short circuit and the communicating device 4 is judged to be connected when the second DX terminal 12 and the third DX terminal 13 short circuit by the metal patterns.
