PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the piping installation of the simple constitution and the low cost, capable of preventing the generation of the liquid column separation, and the production of impact in liquid column connection. SOLUTION: This piping installation is composed of a main piping 3 in which the fluid flows, a branch pipe 10 branched from the main piping 3, having a diameter smaller than the main piping 3, and mounted at a position higher than the main piping 3, and a dummy piping 20 mounted at a position higher than the branch pipe 10 and connected to the main piping 3. The generation of a cavity caused by the contraction of the liquid inside of the branch pipe can be prevented only by connecting the dummy piping 20 to the main piping. By applying this constitution formed only by connecting them, the constitution can be simplified and the initial investment and the maintenance cost can be reduced.
