PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such a roofing structure that can strengthen retention by restraining roofing materials from being deformed, thereby obtaining such a roofing structure with a cut off property. SOLUTION: In both sides of the receiving metal tool 4, the two step-stoppers 464 and 465 consisting of an upper step and a lower step are formed and the inner catching part 62 of the crown part 7 in the floating side is engaged with the lower step receiving part 465 while the outer edge catching part 66 is engaged with the receiving part 464 in the upper step respectively. The inner catching part 72 of the crown part 7 in the floating side and the outer edge catching part 76 are locked to both lower catching parts 464. Meanwhile, the inside inclined portion 63 of the crown part 6 in the floating side and the inside inclined portion 73 in the covering side and the outside inclined portion 75, valley-shaped ribs 631, 731 and 751 are respectively formed to overlap the valley- shaped rib 631 of the crown part 6 in the floating side. At the same time, the valley-shaped rib 731 of the inner inclined part of the covering side is covered onto the outer edge locking part 66 of the crown part 6 in the floating side.
