PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data communication system and a mobile radio equipment such that authentication is permitted while data on side of a mobile radio equipment having a data communication function is read/written so as to enhance protection and security of personal data stored in the mobile wireless unit. SOLUTION: The mobile radio equipment analyzes a protocol as to whether or not a request is a Put request of a write request and issues an authentication request to a user when the request is the Put request (step 111). The user uses a key operation section of the mobile radio equipment to enter a password or the like (step 112). The mobile radio equipment analyzes the entered data as an authentication reply (step 113), confirms the user authentication and the mobile radio equipment transmits the Put request of an authentication result (OK or NG) to a personal computer of a connection opposite party (step 103). After that, usual object exchange (data communication) sequence is conducted.
