PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for dissipating cations from an ultrasonic humidifier for generating a lot of cations/anions. SOLUTION: An atomizer chamber 6 is provided above a water tank 2 having an ultrasonic oscillator 3 at the bottom, a blower 4 blows air through an air hole 6a at the side of the atomizer chamber 6 to discharge air through a mist blow hole 6 at the top of the chamber 6, together with mist. A power source 8 having a high voltage output of an anion generator is disposed in a frame 1, an anion generator chamber 7 of the anion generator for introducing air from the blower 4 adjoins the atomizer chamber 6 and a blow hole 7a of the anion generator chamber 7 adjoins the mist blow hole 6b of the atomizer chamber 6. An anion generating electrode 9 is disposed in the anion generator chamber 7 to mix ion-containing air from the blow hole 7a with mist just blown from the mist blow hole 6b, thereby dissipating cations in the mist. |
