PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a three-phase circuit of combination of single-phase circuits, and make the input voltage of an inverter circuit the same level as in the case of a three-phase 400 V system even in a three-phase 200 V system. SOLUTION: The power converter is provided with a three-phase alternating current input terminal receiving each phase of the three-phase 200 V system, a voltage doubler rectifier rectifying voltage between the adjacent input terminals out of the three-phase alternating current input terminals into voltage doubler respectively, respective inverter circuits converting the respective direct current output voltages of the voltage doubler rectifier, a control circuit for controlling the inverter circuit, respective transformers for boosting the respective alternating current voltage of the inverter circuit, and respective rectifiers rectifying the respective secondary winding voltage of the transformer. The power converter connects the output terminal of the rectifier in parallel.
