PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide door breakage-preventing measures in a medium-issuing apparatus for banknotes, bonds, etc., without requiring new designing of using parts or deteriorating the convenience, when setting the pulling direction of the whole unit in the reverse direction from the point of handling the device. SOLUTION: In this medium-issuing apparatus, a mechanism for automatically closing the door opened after housing a medium or returning the door, until the opening quantity is a fixed quantity or less is provided, whereby the breakage of the door can be solved, when the whole unit pulled out from the device is pushed into the apparatus.
