<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface that replaces a master set of a remote supervisory control system for a host type so as to have a sophisticated function without revising an application software program to generate an instruction received from a host system. SOLUTION: The interface device that interfaces a signal between a host system 1 and a master set 3 forming a multiplex transmission system 2 is provided with a communication I/F 5 that receives and outputs an instruction signal from the host system 1, an arithmetic section 6 that receives an output signal from the communication I/F 5 to convert the instruction of the host system 1 into an instruction compatible with the master set 3 and to provide an output, a transmission I/F 7 that receives the output signal from the arithmetic section 6 to transmit a transmission signal to the master set 3, and an operation setting section 8 that is connected to the arithmetic section 6 to perform type-setting of the host system 1 and the master set 3.</p> |
