PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arm developing system array type receiving device capable of preventing a sub-pole level of a horizontal plane beam pattern from becoming large in a specific phasing azimuth. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with five arms 1-5 developing horizontally at equal angles from the center point O and plural receivers 1a-1e, 2a-2e, 3a-3e, 4a-4e, 5a-5e arranged on each arm at intervals narrowing at the same rate toward the outside. The intervals between the receivers 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a positioned on the innermost side on each arm and the center point O are set a little larger than a half of an undersea wavelength of the maximum frequency of a signal of a receiving object.
