PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetically closed type compressor with a high energy- saving characteristic capable of reducing discharge oil while easily preventing contact between a lead wire and a rotor rotating body when assembling the compressor. SOLUTION: This hermetically closed type compressor is provided with a motor part 4 comprising a rotor 5 having a permanent magnet and a rotating shaft 7, and a stator 6 having twelve pole teeth or less, with a coil concentratedly wound on each pole tooth; a compression mechanism part 3 driven by the rotating shaft 7; and a closed casing 2 for accommodating the compression mechanism part 3 and the motor part 4 while fastening a sealed terminal 24 thereto. The end part of the coil of the stator 6 is connected to the sealed terminal 24 through a first terminal plate 20 formed of an annular insulator, and the rotor 5 or its rotating shaft 7 is provided with a discharge oil preventing plate 26 for separating oil.
