PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft of high reliability ensuring stable surface hardness by suppressing or avoiding deformation in nitriding since the deformation in nitriding the shaft causes uneven finishing allowance, resulting in the dispersion of surface hardness after finishing and the wear of the shaft. SOLUTION: Nitrifying preventing processing is applied to an eccentric hole or recess of the shaft for a compressor to suppress deformation in nitriding.
