A radio base station device comprising a base band signal processing unit for outputting, along with a base band signal, a frequency informing signal indicating a carrier frequency with which to modulate the base band signal, and a radio trnasmitting/receiving unit for modulating a base band signal from the base band signal processing unit with a carrier frequency indicated by a frequency informing signal to generate a radio transmission signal. Since the base band signal processing unit outputs a frequency informing signal to the radio transmitting/receiving unit along with a base band signal, the radio transmitting/receiving unit can immediately identify a carrier frequency with which to modulate an arrived base band signal to thereby produce a radio transmission signal quickly and correctly.
