The holder has first and second clamp elements (14a,b) to form a detachable connection with a piece of clothing. Guide elements (11,12a,b) guide one/both clamp elements on a curved track, and define a space to contain the writing implement. First and/or second actuators (18a,b) are for reversible operation of the first and/or second clamp element along the curved track. The first clamp element is fixed, and the second element is moveable relative to it.
