PURPOSE: A torque converter is provided to reduce the separation generated on a flow receiving area of an impeller blade by forming a concave-convex groove on a surface of the impeller blade, thereby reducing the pressure loss and improving the torque ratio. CONSTITUTION: A torque converter includes an impeller blade(23) mounted in an impeller shell for transmitting power to a fluid and determining a direction of the flow of ATF(Automatic Transmission Fluid), and having a groove(23a) formed at a surface for withdrawing a point where the separation is generated, thereby reducing an amount of the separation, wherein the groove is formed by a uniform width along an outline of the blade.
