PURPOSE: A blade of water pump is provided to automatically adjust width thereof according to temperature of water coolant. CONSTITUTION: An impeller(30) is a disk and has a shaft receiving part on a center thereof for a rotary shaft to be inserted and receiving grooves(32) radially formed on one side of a periphery thereof. Long and streamlined blades(40) have hooking parts and spring supports(43) inserted to the receiving grooves of the impeller and rotating wings(41) whose one sides are protrusive to prevent detachment from the receiving grooves. Springs(50) elastically support insides of the spring supports of the blades received in the receiving grooves. Empty spaces of the receiving grooves are filled with wax bodies(60) contracting and expanding so that the blades received in the receiving grooves come out and go in as temperature changes.
