One of the bearing elements (9) rotates as carried round an axis normal to the tensioning direction of the holder (2) and has two bearing surfaces projecting adjacently so as to bear on the tooth for extraction at points, or again in a line parallel to the specified axis. The projecting bearing element (9) has two bearing surfaces made convex by their intervening depression which in turn is arcuate in shape going tangentially over into the arcuate convex surfaces of the bearing surfaces. The bearing surfaces slope slightly away along their swivel axis towards the free end of the element (9). The second bearing element (10) projects so as to bear at one point or in a line when addressed to the tooth.
