PRINTING ON FRONT-SURFACE LAYER OF DATA RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

Printing is done by using a tray on which a data recording medium such as an optical disk can be mounted. When a printing medium selected by a user at a user interface means the front-surface layer of a data recording medium, printing is done in a predetermined printable area on the front-surface layer of a data recording medium mounted on this tray. In addition, a printing mode is automatically selected which is not likely to cause coagulation on the front surface of a non-ink-absorbing data recording medium.
