PURPOSE: Provided are a composition containing natural medicinal herbs and functional nutrients for strengthening animal's immunity and functions of intestine and the complex materials made by the biologically active materials extracted from the above herbs and the active ingredients of the western drugs. The above composition and the complex materials are utilized as adjuvant animal feed, feed additive, medicinal formulation and injection for enhancing the immunity and productivity of the animals. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method the composition and the complex material comprises the steps of: a step of cleaning the above herbal material with clean water to remove dust and the unwanted material; an extraction step of the active ingredients from the above herbs by adding 5-20 times water and heating at 50-150deg.C for 30 minutes to 5 hours; a separating step of the floating materials by microfiltration and a second separating step of centrifuging; and a concentrating step of the above solution with no floating materials, and adding the above western functional drug materials and mixing. The above oriental herbs include one or more ingredients selected from ginseng, Scutellaria, white Atractylis, white agaric, Astragalus, Chinese Dioscorea, Alisma, licorice, Korean angelica root, Cornus fruit, moutan, date, amomum seed, dermal root, Cnidium, Paeonia, etc.. The above western functional drug materials includes one or more ingredients chosen from pectin, glucose, carbohydrates, benjamin acid, calcium pantothenate, glutamic hydrochloride, methionine, lysine hydrochloride, L-leucine, L-phenylalanine, L-threonine, L-valine, amino acid, vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C, E and NaCl.
