PURPOSE: A system and a method for managing initial launch information of mobile communication terminals are provided to use an SMS(Short Message Service) to calculate the number of mobile communication terminals of a specific manufacturer, and to automatically transmit terminal information without a specific key operation by a subscriber. CONSTITUTION: Whether communication with a base station is available is checked(400). If so, a controller checks whether a flagDetect is set to "TRUE"(402). If so, the controller sets an SMS transmission count value to "0"(404). The controller decides a telephone number of the other party to transmit terminal initial launch information through SMS(406). The controller transmits the launch information according to initial launch of the terminal to the decided telephone number of the other party through the SMS(408). The controller checks whether the count value exceeds a threshold(410). If the count value does not exceed the threshold, the controller increases the count value by "1" and repeats SMS transmission(412). And if the count value exceeds the threshold, the controller sets the falgDetct to "FALSE" to prevent the initial launch information from being generated in the same terminal(414). |
