PURPOSE: A device for a wireless Internet audio book and a method for controlling and providing the same are provided to listen to desired information at any place by receiving the information from a server which is storing digital data. CONSTITUTION: An icon/micro jack(1) inputs wanted information and converts information contents received from a server and transmitted as a text into an audio for listening the information through an ear. A speaker makes other person listen the information. An LCD display and touch screen(3) make inputted contents be displayed and make a text and a selection input possible. A control button(4) inputs a command operation. An antenna, earphone/mike and speaker circuit block is converted into an antenna for transmitting/receiving a wireless Internet signal, a mike for inputting wanted information as an audio, and an audio. A button circuit block(6) makes a control command input possible using the control button(4). A wireless Internet transmitting/receiving circuit block(7) makes an Internet transmission and receipt possible by wireless. An audio converting circuit block(8) converts text audio information into an audio. A block(9) comprising a CPU, a RAM, a ROM, a flash memory controls and processes a wireless Internet audio book device, and stores a program and data for a control. An LCD display and touch screen control circuit block(10) may watch a searched text and image, and inputs wanted information by a touch screen. A power battery(11) supplies a power to each circuit element of the wireless Internet audio book device.
