The invention discloses a new kind of polypeptide-HOMO TNFR/NGRF protein 9.02 containing cytochrome C structural domain and polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide and a process for producing said polypeptide by DNA recombinant methods. It also discloses the method of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various kinds of diseases, such as cancer, hemopathy, HIV infection, immune disease and phlogosis. Antagonist and the therapeutic use of the polypeptide is also disclosed. In addition, it refers to the use of polynucleotide encoding said HOMO TNFR/NGFR protein 9.02 containing cytochrome C structural domain.
