<p>Method and apparatus for recording data on a magnetic recording medium and writing data to a computer bus in which the data is divided into words of a predetermined length, a signal is generated for each data word, having an amplitude which is representative of the value of the data word, and this signal is then recorded to the magnetic recording medium or written to the computer bus. Complementary method and apparatus is provided for reading the data from the magnetic recording medium and the computer bus.</p> |
