The change-speed gear has two drive wheels (2,3) connected by a continuous toothed drive chain. A drive wheel has two taper wheels (10,27) with facing taper surfaces (11,28), which are at adjustable relative axial distance. The taper wheels are fixed to a torque-holding hub (6,23) of the drive wheel. Each drive wheel has a flexible connection element, e.g. plate link chain (12,29), which is in positive connection with the hub, and is guided between the facing taper surfaces of the taper wheels.
