METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRO-OPTIC DEVICE

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an electro-optic device is provided to prevent the generation of moire even when a coating film is deposited on the surface side of a color filter by using flexographic printing. CONSTITUTION: An alignment layer(416) and an overcoat film(429) are deposited by flexographic printing on the surface side of a second transparent substrate(420) in which color filters(407R,407G,407B) having the same color pitch(P1) are formed in the manufacturing process of a liquid crystal display(400). The pitch of the mesh of an anilox roller used for flexographic printing and the pitch of a pitch formed on the surface of the projecting part of a relief printing plate are equalized with the same color pitch of the color filters to prevent the generation of moire.
