The circuit uses a current regulation coil driver (12) and a circuit model (13,14) for analogue simulation of the regulated inductive load (11), supplied with corresponding control signals, with comparison of a temperature dependent measuring voltage proportional to the current, provided by the circuit model, with a voltage proportional to the actual current through the load, for providing an output signal indicating the temperature of the load.
