Seal integrity testing method incorporates testing of pressure sensor between seal integrity testing cycles

The testing method uses a pressure sensor (11) which is tested between successive seal integrity testing cycles, by connecting a test volume (13) to at least one volume (5) associated with the pressure sensor, via a test valve (12). An additional volume (15) is coupled to the test volume via a switching valve (14), with operation of both valves in alternation until the difference the difference in the pressure sensor volume before and after the last operation of the test valve is less than a given value. An Independent claim for a seal integrity testing device is also included.
