Multi-channel ultrasonic flowrate measuring method incorporates compensation for variation in actual radius of flow pipe internal radius

The flowrate measuring method has the flow velocity measured ultrasonically and multiplied with the cross-sectional surface area of the flow pipe. The internal radius of the flow pipe used for calculation of the cross-sectional surface area is compensated mathematically for the maximum disparity in the actual radius, resulting from the thickness variations in a corrosion-resistance layer applied to the inside surface of the flow pipe.
