The glazing groove insert has a rectangular base plate (2), with each of its shorter ends (5,6) provided with 2 spaced seizure arms (7,8,9,10), extending in the longitudinal direction of the base plate for cooperating with the glazing panel inserted in a frame and at least one spring arm (11) attached to the base plate. The spring arm extends beyond one of the ends of the base plate and is provided with a stop element (13), projecting above the surface of the base plate, for limiting the longitudinal movement of the glazing panel.
