PURPOSE: A lithium secondary battery is provided, to improve the physical properties and ion conductivity of a separator and the adhesive power between an electrolyte and an electrode plate by forming the organosilane self-assembly layer on the surface of a separator. CONSTITUTION: The lithium secondary battery comprises a cathode containing a lithium complex oxide; an anode containing a carbon material or a graphite material; a separator placed between the cathode and the anode; and an electrolyte solution containing a lithium salt and an organic solvent, wherein the separator comprises a polymer having a OH group, and the organosilane self-assembly layer is formed on the surface of the separator. The polymer having a OH group is a homopolymer, a copolymer or their blending polymer having a repeating unit selected from the group consisting of acrylate, methacrylate, ethylene glycol bismethacrylate, ethoxylated bisphenol A dimethacrylate, vinyl acetate and vinyl alcohol. The organosilane forming the self-assembly layer is at least one selected from the group consisting of aminopropylmethyldimethoxysilane, aminopropylmethyltriethoxysilane and alkyltrichlorosilane. |
