PURPOSE: In a high speed driving, as an opening degree of an intake valve increases, the fuel injection amount injected to an upper part of the intake valve decreases to improve burning efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A valve driving device of an engine comprises a cam shaft(1) and a cam(2). The cam(2) is installed in the cam shaft(1), and has a driving part(3) to open and close an intake valve(4). A slant portion(6) is formed on the surface of the driving part(3) to allow variable contact height between the intake valve(4) and the slant portion(6) by the sidewise movement of the cam shaft(1). An operation part(20) moves the cam shaft(1) sidewise by a suction force of a vacuum pump(10). A solenoid valve(11) is installed between the vacuum pump(10) and the operation part(20). The solenoid valve(11) controls opening degree by a control signal to control suction force supplied to the operation part(20).
