PURPOSE: A system and a method for operating an AD(ADvertisement) using a receipt and a recording medium storing a program source for the same are provided to give a premium according to an event number by printing the AD discount coupon information at the back of the receipt and giving the event number to a buyer buying a product with the printed AD coupon. CONSTITUTION: The system connects with a plurality of user terminals(10,11), the member store terminals(20,21), a cooperating roll-receipt maker server(30), a cooperating AD company server(40) and a main server(100) through an Internet communication network(50). The main server gives the event number by the request of the member store terminals, makes a database with the AD discount coupon information inputted from the AD company server and requests the roll receipt maker server to print the roll receipt having the AD discount coupon at the back of the receipt. The main server includes a product sale module(101), an AD providing module(102), an event number management module(103), a receipt making request module(104), an event drawing and premium giving module(105) and an event support module(106).
