<p>A process and apparatus for magnetizing plastic pipe in which a plastic pipe material, plastic pipe coating, rectangular strips or solids rods are doped with a magnetizable material, the doped plastic material is extruded to form a plastic pipe comprising the magnetizable material, and the magnetic field is applied across the pipe diameter as the doped plastic pipe material extruded, thereby magnetizing the magnetizable material in the plastic pipe.</p> |
