The invention relates to a method for the digital generation of mobile communication transmission signals for signal processing and/or D/A conversion of the transmission signal of various mobile radio standards. The invention is characterised in that only one single non-system-dependent clock speed is generated and correspondingly only one clock frequency generator is arranged on the chip. The signal processing path for each mobile radio standard thus comprises at least one interpolator, in particular an asynchronous interpolator, for conversion of the transmission signal to a uniform timebase.
