ORGANIC ELECTRIC FIELD LUMINESCENCE DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An organic electric field luminescence device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the film quality of metal electrode by patterning the metal electrode. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(4) is formed on a first substrate(2). A metal electrode(8) is formed on a surface of a second substrate(6) opposite to the transparent(4). An organic electric field luminescence layer(10) is formed on an electrode surface. A conductive adhesive layer(12) is arranged between the organic electric field luminescence layer(10) and the electrode and electrically connects them. A sealant(14) joins the opposite periphery of the first and second substrates(2,6). The organic electric field luminescence layer(10) having a hole transportation layer(16), an organic luminescence layer(18), and an electron transport layer(20) is layered from the transparent electrode(4) toward the metal electrode(8).
