PURPOSE: A device for controlling the use of a computer by controlling signals between a monitor and the computer is provided to normally maintain the screen of a monitor as a microcomputer automatically connects signals between a computer and the monitor if a user sets and inputs a usable time and to disable the use of the computer as the microcomputer automatically interrupts signals between the computer and the monitor for time other than the inputted time. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling the use of a computer is composed of a microprocessor(100), a display window(110), a keypad(120), a socket(210), and a cable. The microprocessor(100) processes information. The display window(110) displays relevant information according to a control signal from the microprocessor(100). The keypad(120) is to input required information to the microprocessor(100). A monitor cable is inserted into the socket(210). The cable is formed with a connector, connecting the computer and the computer control device, in a single unit.
