PURPOSE: A transmitting/receiving system between a base station and a terminal is provided to make the terminal calculate a beam pattern to be used during transmission, and to make the terminal transmit calculated information to the base station, when transmitting/receiving frequencies of the base station are different, so as to form a forward beam in a system having different transmitting/receiving frequencies. CONSTITUTION: A base station transceiver system(200) comprises as follows. A base station adder(203) adds a pilot symbol to a signal to be transmitted to a terminal(211). A base station receiving/transmitting beam former(202) internally complexes an optional weight vector with the transmission signal and a base station receiving signal, and generates a beam. A base station CDMA demodulator/CDMA modulator(201) demodulates/modulates the beam. A base station weight vector storage(204) pre-calculates the optional weight vector and a weight vector for forming a transmission beam corresponding to an index of a weight vector, which is included in the demodulated signal, and stores the calculated weight vectors. A base station receiving beam selector/transmission beam selector(205) selects the stored optional weight vector, and supplies the selected weight vector to the beam former(202). A base station transmission frequency transferer(206) supplies phase information for different frequencies from receiving signal frequencies of the base station transceiver system(200) to the beam former(202).
