INTERACTIVE SPEECH RECOGNITION DOLL TOY AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

PURPOSE: An interactive speech recognition doll toy and its control method are provided which is a combination of a speech processing system and a doll toy so as to have an interesting dialogue(voice expression) with a user. CONSTITUTION: An input sound signal of a child is recognized regardless of a speaker. A system controller uses a stored scenario, a stored speech information and a dialogue manager according to a preset algorithm so that the child and the doll toy are able to have a dialogue as if it were real. Accordingly, since the system comprising a voice recognizer and a voice decoder and the dialogue manager enabling the development of the scenario are combined for an interactive use, the system of a mechanical structure is made into a sewn doll to satisfy the desire of amusement and the effect of language education.
