CONTAINER WITH COMPONENTS OF AN ACIDIC CONCENTRATE FOR A DIALYSIS FLUID AND METHOD OF PREPARING AN ACIDIC DIALYSIS CONCENTRATE

The constituents of the acid dialysis concentrate required for producing dialysis fluid are not - as is the case in the prior art - provided as a dry concentrate or as a true solution, but are provided as a suspension of undissolved substances preferably sodium chloride and, optionally, other substances - in an aqueous solution of the remaining constituents. The suspension is introduced into a container designated as an acid cartridge, is stored, transported and is then used. A liquid concentrate is produced from the suspension at the location of dialysis by means of a device and is processed into a dialysis fluid by using existing dosing and safety systems of conventional dialysis units. The inventive system makes it possible to realize savings and advantages with regard to transport, storage and handling without lowering the common standard for patient safety which is applied to the use of conventional liquid concentrate.
