<p>An injector for the purpose of injecting fuel into the combustion chambers of an internal combustion engine. A control part body (4) is accommodated in a movable manner in an injector housing (2). The opening and closing movement of said control part body is performed by relieving the pressure in a control chamber (10). The pressure-relief of the control chamber (10) is controlled by means of an externally actuated actuator (16). The control part body (4) is provided with a sealing seat diameter (18) which seals off the valve chamber (6) and which closes and opens the supply line (7) from the high pressure accumulating chamber. Connected downstream of the sealing seat diameter (18) of the control part body (4) is an annular throttle element (21) which has a variable cross-section (25, 26). An annular throttle element (21) having a variable cross-section (25, 26) or a throttle slide valve (35) having a throttle (37) is connected downstream of the sealing seat diameter (18) of the control part body (4).</p> |
