The clamp consists of a base surmounted by a body (2) with lateral retaining jaws (5, 6) and a main spring (15), and an active asymmetry member (51) which provides for an asymmetrical movement of the jaws and is accessible from outside the clamp after assembly. It is also movable and can be reversed. The two jaws are able to move against the effort of the main spring, and the asymmetry member comprises at least one elastic block which opposes the movement of a jaw, complementing the action of the main spring. It can be in the form of two blocks (51, 52) of different shapes and strengths, made e.g. from a synthetic rubber of the butadiene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene group. In addition, the clamp's supporting plate has an upper surface covering of an anti-friction material, e.g. PTFE. |
