PURPOSE: A convection type compound air conditioning system and method are provided to simplify structure thereof without separate condensing device or wastewater bucket or pipe to remove moisture by discharging air on a bottom of a room to outside using property of humid air to settle down. CONSTITUTION: A system includes a body(10); an air blower(20); a sensor(30); and a controller(40). The body is tubular and has an inlet(10a) on a lower end thereof to take in air on a bottom(1a) of a room(1) and an outlet(10b) on an upper end thereof to discharge air taken in through the inlet to outside(2). The air blower is installed between the inlet and the outlet to guide flow of air. The sensor detects humidity and temperature in the room. The controller receives humidity signal or temperature signal from the sensor and determines whether the signal exceeds standard value to impress control signal to the air blower.
