IMMUNITY ENHANCER CONTAINING COLOSTRUM FRACTION AS ACTIVE COMPONENT AND PREPARING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An immunity enhancer with colostrum fraction as an active component and its preparation method are provided, in which the peptides with more than 10KD molecular weight are eliminated from the cow's initial milk serum of which casein and fats have been removed. The immunosuppressive component contained in the colostrum fraction is eliminated so as to make an effective immune enhancer by acceleration of the growth and functions of suppressor T cell, helper T cell and B cell. This colostrum fraction is used as milk formula, baby food, special nutritious food, food for the patients of stomach ulcer and intestinal ulcer and tonic foods. CONSTITUTION: The immuno enhancer includes cow's colostrum fractions(BCWIE-II) containing peptides with 1-10KD molecular weight and colostrum fractions(BCWIE-III) with not more than 1KD. The preparation method comprises the steps of: eliminating fats from the cow's colostrum fraction; adjusting pH to 4.5-4.6 to remove casein; and obtaining the wanted colostrum fraction by eliminating peptide with more than 10KD by ultrafiltration of the above milk serum.
