PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake assist device capable of further improving safety by sufficiently displaying an effect of brake assistance. SOLUTION: The brake assist device to assist brake operation of a driver is furnished with a road surface sensor to detect a slipping property of a road surface, a navigation device 12 to detect a curve in advance and a controller 6 to correct an assist degree of the brake operation in accordance with either one information at least of the road curvature information from the navigation device 12 as well as road surface information from the road surface sensor 11. |
