<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-layer polyimide film capable of laminating to a metal foil in relatively mild condition, having good durability to a chlorine- based solvent, allowing a wide variety of selection of bonding conditions by controlling a glass transition temperature in a wide range and having durability for use in a high temperature, and a metal layer laminate using the film. SOLUTION: In the multi-layer polyimide film and the metal layer laminate using the multi-layer polyimide film, a thin layer polyimide (Y) having imide units consisting of an aromatic tetra-carboxylic acid di-anhydride residue and an aromatic diamine residue is laminated integrally on at least one side of a base polyimide layer (X) having a low thermal expansion property, wherein a glass transition temperature (Tg) of the thin layer polyimide (Y) is adjusted so as to be a desired value within a range of 210 deg.C to 310 deg.C by changing composition of p-phenylenediamine and/or diaminodiphenyl ether.</p> |
