ON-DEMAND INK JET PRINT HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image of high quality by increasing an amount of an ink droplet from a nozzle positioned in both ends of a row of the nozzles or a nozzle in the vicinity of nozzles positioned in both ends of the row to an average level of an ink droplet in the center of the row of nozzles and approximately equalizing the amount of the ink droplets ejected from a plurality of nozzles in an on-demand ink jet print head of a piezoelectric element type. SOLUTION: An amount of ink droplets is controlled by making Helmholtz characteristic vibration circle of nozzles in the vicinity of both ends of a row a little lower than that of other nozzles in an on-demand ink jet printhead of a piezoelectric element type.
